Nicotine pouch disposal for bars

The simplest fix is a small, clearly labeled pouch bin on the wall near the bar and in each restroom, so guests have somewhere to put a used pouch. STOWE is a wall-mounted unit built for that job, and it goes up with peel-and-stick adhesive and no tools.

Why do nicotine pouches end up on the bar top?

A pouch usually comes out right when a guest wants a drink. The nearest trash can is behind the bar, out of reach, and the bar top is right there.

So pouches get left on coasters, tucked into empty glasses, and lined up along the rail. A bartender finds them while clearing a seat, often with the next guest already waiting for it.

That goes for ZYN and other nicotine pouches alike. What matters is that nothing nearby is meant to hold them.

What happens to used pouches in bar restrooms?

In the restroom, a used pouch tends to go in the urinal, in the sink, or on the floor. A guest at a urinal has nothing else within arm's reach.

Flushed pouches can clog plumbing, and a clog on a busy Saturday night can take a restroom out of service when you need it most. The ones that aren't flushed sit in plain view and make a clean room look neglected.

How much cleanup do pouches create for bar staff?

Each pouch only takes a few seconds to deal with. The trouble is how often it comes up across a shift: wiping down the rail, clearing the bar top, checking urinals, sweeping at close.

It's also a job nobody enjoys. Picking up someone else's used pouch isn't why anyone got into bartending, and every minute spent on it is a minute away from guests.

Where should a bar put a pouch disposal unit?

Start where you already find pouches. For most bars, that means two zones:

Mounting is quick. Each unit comes with 3M VHB adhesive already applied, so you peel it, press it onto the wall, and move on with no tools.

How do you empty it during a shift?

The bin slides off the wall plate, and the plate stays on the wall. Lift off the lid, swap the bag, and slide the bin back on. A barback can handle it between rushes.

Can a bar put its own branding on it?

Yes. The Custom option is a white bin with a 3-side vinyl wrap carrying your logo, so the unit looks like it belongs in your room. It has a 3-unit minimum and always ships free.

If you'd rather keep it simple, the Branded option comes in matte black or white with "POUCH DISPOSAL" embossed on it. Orders of 3 or more units ship free.

Pricing for both will be announced at launch.
