Nicotine pouch disposal for hotels

Hotels can give guests a clearly labeled place for used pouches in the lobby bar, pool bar, restrooms, and fitness center, which leaves less for housekeeping to find later. STOWE is a small wall-mounted unit made for those shared spaces, and it works back-of-house for staff too.

Where do used nicotine pouches turn up in a hotel?

They turn up anywhere a guest finishes one and doesn't see a bin. In public areas, that means lobby side tables, bar tops, planters, restroom counters, and the ledges of gym machines.

In guest rooms, it's nightstands, desks, bathroom counters, and the occasional drinking glass. Guests using ZYN and other nicotine pouches mostly aren't trying to leave a mess. Most hotel spaces just weren't planned with pouches in mind.

How much extra work do pouches make for housekeeping?

Room attendants work on a tight schedule, and every stray pouch is one more thing to find and remove. A pouch on a nightstand takes a moment. One pressed into a carpet or stuck to a counter takes longer.

Public-area attendants see the same thing in lobbies and restrooms all day long.

Your housekeeping team knows what this costs your property better than anyone. Ask them where they keep finding pouches, and you'll have a map of where units should go.

Where should a hotel put pouch disposal?

Focus on places where guests linger and where staff already clean up pouches:

Does it work at a pool bar?

Only on a covered wall, such as under the bar's roof or beside an indoor service area. Keep it out of the rain.

If your pool bar has no covered wall, use the nearest indoor spot instead, like the pool restrooms or the door back into the hotel.

Will it fit the look of the property?

It's about 4" wide, 3.1" deep, and 5.75" tall, so it stays out of the way on a restroom or corridor wall. The Branded option comes in matte black or white, and orders of 3 or more units ship free.

For a property with a strong identity, Custom adds your hotel's logo and branding on a 3-side vinyl wrap over a white bin. It has a 3-unit minimum and always ships free. Pricing for both will be announced at launch.

What does it take to install and maintain?

There's no project for engineering to schedule. Each unit comes with 3M VHB adhesive already applied, so you peel it and press it on with no tools. Adhesive can mark some finishes when it comes off, so try a small test on delicate wall coverings.

Attendants can empty it on their regular rounds. The bin slides off the wall plate, the lid lifts off, and a fresh bag goes in.
